1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Yuny (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Yuny reserves the right to update these terms at any time; continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Description of Service

Yuny is a platform that helps users discover games and connect with other players based on shared interests and play styles. As part of this experience, Yuny may facilitate communication between matched users through integrations with third-party platforms such as Discord.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Yuny. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these terms.

4. Accounts and Authentication

Yuny uses Discord OAuth for authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Discord account. Yuny is not responsible for any loss or damage arising from unauthorized access to your account.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Engage in hate speech, discrimination, or threatening behavior
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to circumvent any rate limits, paywalls, or access controls
• Abuse the matchmaking system (e.g., repeatedly cancelling to manipulate results)
• Share sexually explicit, exploitative, or otherwise inappropriate content
• Use bots or automated tools to interact with the Service

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension or permanent ban.

6. User Interactions

Yuny facilitates connections between users but does not control or guarantee the behavior of any user. You acknowledge that interactions with other users, whether through Yuny or third-party platforms such as Discord, are at your own risk.

Yuny does not conduct background checks and makes no representations or warranties regarding the identity, intentions, or conduct of users.

7. Discord Integration

Yuny may create private channels or threads within Discord to enable matched users to communicate. These spaces are hosted on Discord and are subject to Discord’s own Terms of Service.

While Yuny may facilitate the creation of these spaces, it does not actively monitor all communications and cannot guarantee the safety, legality, or appropriateness of interactions that occur within them.

8. Safety and Reporting

Yuny provides mechanisms for users to report inappropriate behavior. We reserve the right to investigate reports and take action, including suspension or termination of accounts.

However, Yuny does not guarantee that all harmful behavior will be detected or prevented.

9. Subscriptions and Payments

Yuny offers a free tier (limited to 5 sessions per calendar month) and a Pro subscription ($6/month). Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring monthly charges until you cancel.

Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial months except where required by applicable law.

Yuny reserves the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to active subscribers.

10. Game Recommendations

Yuny may recommend games or content based on user preferences. These recommendations are provided for informational purposes only.

Yuny is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any game publishers or platforms unless explicitly stated.

11. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and software associated with Yuny is the property of Yuny and its creators. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without explicit written permission.

12. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Yuny does not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted access to the Service. Matchmaking results depend on user availability and are not guaranteed.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yuny shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to interactions with other users or activity occurring on third-party platforms.

14. Termination

Yuny reserves the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may discontinue use of the Service at any time.

15. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.
