Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Yuny ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Yuny reserves the right to update these terms at any time; continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Description of Service

Yuny is a gaming community platform that matches players based on game preferences and play style, then facilitates hangouts via Discord. The Service requires a Discord account and, for full functionality, membership in the Yuny Discord server.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Yuny. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these terms.

4. Accounts and Authentication

Yuny uses Discord OAuth for authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Discord account. Yuny is not responsible for any loss or damage arising from unauthorized access to your account.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to circumvent any rate limits, paywalls, or access controls
  • Abuse the matchmaking system (e.g., repeatedly cancelling to game the queue)
  • Share content that is discriminatory, threatening, or sexually explicit
  • Use bots or automated tools to interact with the Service

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension or permanent ban without refund.

6. Discord Integration

Yuny creates Discord channels and threads on your behalf within the Yuny Discord server. By using the Service, you consent to Yuny joining you to the Yuny Discord server via Discord's OAuth API. Your behavior within Discord is also subject to Discord's own Terms of Service.

7. Subscriptions and Payments

Yuny offers a free tier (limited to 5 sessions per calendar month) and a Pro subscription ($6/month). Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring monthly charges until you cancel.

Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial months except where required by applicable law.

Yuny reserves the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to active subscribers.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and software associated with Yuny is the property of Yuny and its creators. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without explicit written permission.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Yuny does not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted access to the Service. Matchmaking results are not guaranteed — availability depends on other active users.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yuny shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or issues arising from interactions with other users.

11. Termination

Yuny reserves the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.
